Tiêu chuẩn của BIFMA là gì?

BIFMA là tên gọi viết tắt của Hiệp hội các nhà sản xuất và kinh doanh đồ nội thất (The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association). BIFMA đóng vai trò như một trung tâm thông tin và tổ chức đại diện cho ngành công nghiệp nội thất văn phòng.

Trong đó, tiêu chuẩn dành cho ghế văn phòng là ANSI / BIFMA 5.1. Để đạt được tiêu chuẩn này thì cần phải trải qua những bài kiểm tra về: lưng ghế, chân ghế, đệm ghế, độ xoay, khả năng chịu áp lực của chân ghế, độ bền khi va chạm, khả năng chịu lực của thanh gác tay. Trọng lực 125kg.
