Loại hình tội phạm này đã chuyển biến từ hình thức buôn lậu xuyên biên giới truyền thống sang các mạng lưới số tinh vi, lợi dụng những lỗ hổng về kinh tế và vị trí địa lý của đất nước. Đối tượng bị nhắm đến chủ yếu là những nhóm dễ bị tổn thương nhất, bao gồm phụ nữ, trẻ em, người dân tộc thiểu số, lao động nghèo, và gần đây là cả nam giới và các thành viên của cộng đồng LGBTQI+. Công dân Việt Nam bị mua bán sang các quốc gia như Trung Quốc, Campuchia, Lào, Myanmar và nhiều nước khác để bị khai thác bóc lột. Mặc dù Chính phủ và các tổ chức quốc tế đã có nhiều nỗ lực nhằm phòng, chống tội phạm này, tình trạng mua bán người vẫn tiếp diễn và ngày càng trở nên tinh vi hơn dưới tác động của công nghệ mới và bối cảnh toàn cầu thay đổi.

Vietnamese citizens are trafficked to countries such as China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and beyond for exploitation. 📈 Quá trình chuyển đổi kinh tế của Việt Nam trong ba thập kỷ qua là một câu chuyện thành công đáng chú ý. Đô thị hóa đóng vai trò quan trọng trong sự thành công của Việt Nam, với tỷ lệ dân số sống ở các thị trấn và thành phố tăng từ ít hơn 20% năm 1990 lên hơn 37,55% vào năm 2022.

🏢 Đô thị hóa vẫn là một hợp phần quan trọng trong quá trình phát triển của Việt Nam, những cải cách hiện nay là cần thiết để đưa quá trình này đi theo một quỹ đạo hiệu quả và bền vững hơn. 📈 Vietnam’s economic transformation over the last three decades has been a remarkable success story. The country has gone from one of the poorest in the world to a thriving lower middle-income economy, thanks to comprehensive economic reforms and rapid structural transformation from an agriculture-based economy to industrialization. Urbanization has played a vital role in Vietnam’s success, with the share of the population living in towns and cities increasing from less than 20% in 1990 to more than 37.55% in 2022 .

🏢 Urbanization remains a vital component of Vietnam’s development, and current reforms are necessary to steer it toward a more efficient and sustainable trajectory. Priorities include increased investment in urban infrastructure, particularly in flooding risk management and robust public transport systems. Allocating resources to cities, coupled with measures to address climate and sustainability risks, is imperative to ensure the continued success of Vietnam’s urbanization journey.
