Với công nghệ nổi bật 80 Plus Platinum cho phép nguồn chạy với hiệu suất cao từ 89% – 94% công suất lý thuyết của nguồn.
Với khả năng cắm nóng (Hot-plug in) sẽ rất tiện lợi trong quá trình bảo trì, thay thế linh kiện của Server Dell PowerEgde (với điều kiện Server đang chạy 02 nguồn).
Với khả năng chạy dự phòng (Redundant) với những Server Dell PowerEdge chạy 02 nguồn trở lên sẽ đáp ứng được tính chịu lỗi cao trong quá trình hoạt động, đồng thời khi máy đang hoạt động với mức độ xử lý thấp sẽ chỉ cần tới công suất của 1 nguồn (nguồn còn lại ở trạng thái standby).
Máy chủ Dell PowerEdge nếu chạy 01 CPU sẽ chỉ cần tối thiểu 01 nguồn, nhưng nếu chạy 02 nguồn sẽ mang lại tính ổn định cao và phát huy hết công suất của máy. Khi Dell PowerEdge chạy 02 CPU thì yêu cầu bắt buộc là phải chạy với chế độ 02 nguồn.
Trong 1 vài trường hợp khi xẩy ra lỗi 01 nguồn lúc này máy vẫn chạy nhưng tự động giảm hiệu suất xử lý xuống đồng thời bật đèn báo lỗi (vàng hoặc đỏ) và chuyển sang trạng thái chờ thay thế linh kiện (nguồn) để hoạt động mức ổn định trở lại.
