Voter intimidation and suppression takes different forms in different places, but anything that makes a voter feel uncomfortable exercising their right to vote is just that, and ultimately the goal of many. It’s sad when I’m 2023 folks still have to fight this hard to exercise their right to vote

They’re called the “voter privacy violation act” for a reason.

Many voters in Yuma county are already scared to vote after voter intimidation attempts last cycle- as evidenced by the fact that Yuma county had the lowest turnout in the state. These bills would only further disenfranchise voters who are already vulnerable to attack.

Arizona bills would post voters' names, addresses, birth years and ballot images There's a reason civil rights advocates call two companion bills in the Arizona Legislature the 'Voter Privacy Violation Act.'
