Meet MINGO!

MINGO is a 6-7 year young old soul with eyes brighter than the sun itself!

Mingo is a sensitive, laid back, easy going gentleman who thrives on being babied. He has no idea he's a 60 lb dog and has no respect for personal space (which is a trait we love in our dogs.😂) When at home, Mingo will explore every corner for crumbs and then cuddle up on the couch with his humans. But don't let that old soul energy fool you...this guy LOVES long walks through the woods and LOVES the water. He doesn't care if it's winter, summer, or if its even an appropriate body of water to get into, he's all in.

Upon meeting new people, he tends to be a bit shy. Once he's comfortable, he will be your new best friend, especially if treats are involved. He is very food motivated!

Mingo would do best with older children who know how to respectfully interact with a dog. He appeared startled when a toddler started running toward him. He didn't react, but it seemed was that loud, eye level little human scared the life out of him! We told him that we understand that toddlers can be a bit intimidating and we’d find him a home without any!

Mingo gets along great with other dogs, big, small, young, or old. Once he makes a friend, he will play and it's so sweet to watch. Mingo would do best in a home with no cats.

In Mingo's last home, he had access to the backyard at all times and was housebroken. He would do best in a home with a secure fence, as he likes to border patrol and will push out any open weak spots and adventure solo if given the opportunity!

If you're looking for a prince who you can pamper and spoil, Mingo is your guy! He's gentle and has the most expressive face. All he wants in the world is a quiet, loving, loyal human or two to call his own.

Meet ATREYU🤎

Hello, my name is ATREYU and I am approximately seven months old!

I absolutely love other dogs and even cats! I also love meeting new people - big and small. Because I am still I pup, I do get very excited and I jump and give happy bum tail wags. I am also still learning manners when my foster mom takes me on the leash. However, I think I am pretty smart and I learn quickly.

I prefer spending most of my time with my human on the couch getting scratchies. I’m not much of a licker, but I will stare you in the face until you give me a kiss on the nose. I absolutely love water, so if you are doing anything with a hose, you can count on me to be close by trying to snag a sip. However, I am a bit reluctant about tubby time still. I haven’t had a potty accident in the house in a very long time and I will stand with my face to the door when I need to go or I just want to be outside. I totally love being in my crate for bedtime and I don’t chew up my blankets, so I do like cozy stuff with me. I’m a very sweet and gentle boy, but I definitely love to play and i’m ready to enjoy my furever home with my new family!
