The Persayus Way Project

Join us on Sunday, June 28, at Wean Park in Downtown Youngstown as the Persayus Way Project honors the life and legacy of Persayus May on what would have been her 15th birthday.🎈

This special Lantern Release Ceremony will also pay tribute to the 8 young lives, all under the age of 18, that have been lost to gun violence in our community that we honor.

We ask the family of the children we honor join us as we lift you in comfort and memorialize in a different way this year.

Together, we will light up the sky in love, remembrance, and hope. As our lanterns rise, so will the memories of those we hold close in our hearts. Let us stand together as a community, honoring their lives and advocating for a future free from violence.
