Beautifully written, very atmospheric, and set in the extraordinarily lush wilderness of the Olympic National Forest in Washington State. As with all of Kristin Hannah’s novels, it features a compelling story and wonderful characters, while exploring the intriguing concept of “feral children”.

Originally published in 2006, “Magic Hour” was reprinted in 2021 under the title “Wild”.
