Hey guys, just wanted to give a life update and also make everyone aware, I will be putting my Etsy shop on vacation mode temporarily. I don't know how long this will last but I will be sure to keep everyone updated through my socials. We unfortunately had to help our last baby, Miss Riley cross the rainbow bridge this evening. We were luckily able to have the weekend with her and celebrate her birthday early (October 31) on Saturday before she passed today. This was the final straw and combined with everything else going on in our lives currently, I'm this close 👌 to a grippy sock vacation and need to step away for a bit. I thought 2025 couldn't be that bad after the last several years we've had but here we are, hanging on for dear life!

I had already decided to take an indefinite break from in person markets but I'll now be taking a break from my Etsy shop as well. This has been a difficult year as a small business owner in the current climate here in the USA and my personal life has been nothing short of a nightmare since spring. Riley was diagnosed with an aggressive osteosarcoma in her jaw in May and she's been holding steady until last week when she started to really go downhill. Over the summer I was also finally able to find some great specialists and was diagnosed with what I knew I already had and then 3 more things on top of it and I've struggled to fins a new normal, followed by two people dear to me dealing with their own personal health struggles. It is just officially too much and I'll be taking a hiatus for a bit. All current orders will be fulfilled by the beginning of next week and I will not be currently taking on new orders until further notice. I appreciate all the love and support and I hope to be back soon. I may post some normal life updates in the meantime until I'm back but if not I hope to be back soon ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Summer Solstice yesterday! It was a wonderful day and we met so many amazing people! Big thank you to Moon Raven Alley LLC for hosting such a cool event and a big shout out to our fellow vendors, entertainers, sponsors, and all the local businesses who participated making this such a successful event. What a great way to kick off summer! Count us in for next year! Not only was it a successful day, but my lillies are starting to bloom! Look how gorgeous they are 😍

Take a peek at one of my new pieces debuting at the grand opening of Our Crafty Ways LLC new shop next Saturday December 14th! This was initially going to be part of our second Halloween drop but life had other plans so it's dropping in our new local booth instead! This is a hyperrealistic 3D resin printed cat skull nestled in an ebony stained coffin with faux plant life and moss. Shoutout to Littleblades Handmade for providing me these super cool faux skulls to be able to bring you guys some unique and ethically sourced bone art! I've struggled immensely with the ethics of this kind of art and these 3D printed skulls have allowed me to still create beautiful unique pieces while feeling good about where they come from. I do have a few more pieces dropping as well and am currently working on some others so stay tuned.
