Apple King is looking to hire a refrigeration specialist. Ideal applicants would have experience in the fruit industry and be knowledgeable about CA and Regular storage, ammonia, fruit conditioning and repairs and maintenance.

Requirements:
*Fruit industry experience preferred
*Must have experience with ammonia
*Must be able to work on compressors, controls, rooms and equipment
*Must be comfortable with computers and record keeping
*Must stay current on all storage techniques and technology
*Must participate in industry training programs
*Must communicate effectively and be able to work with others

Specialists are expected to keep accurate records of temperatures, equipment repairs and inspections and purchase orders. Will keep engine rooms and work areas neat and orderly. Will visually and electronically monitor rooms and equipment and respond in a timely manner to any issues or out of the ordinary conditions.

Expected to follow all company policies. May need to be available on evenings and weekends.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not a requirement.
