thletic center, the Lucius Knowles Athletic Field, and Knollwood, the convent of the Sisters of Notre Dame. In 2009, the Academy completed an addition to the academic building that includes a new multifunctional student center, the Lauring Music Room, an art center, the John and Virginia Flagg Art Gallery, the Kenary Terrace and expanded office space. The science laboratories and the Cuvilly Auditorium also underwent complete renovation. In 2012, the Academy completed renovations on the third floor of the academic building to house the Heritage Chapel. The Academy also acquired the property at 425B Salisbury Street, which is now the Gage House- World Language & Communication Center. In 2019 The Athletic Center received several upgrades including new ADA compliant telescoping bleachers and new flooring complete with volleyball sleeves. In addition a strength and conditioning training facility was built on the lobby level of the athletic center.
