𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 🤖
Last Friday was a special moment for us — we welcomed back our former students, now members of Mass Academy’s FIRST Robotics Team 190. Seeing our alumni return, already working on complex engineering projects and competing at a high level, is something we are truly proud of. Even more so because they came back to share their experience and inspire our current students.

During the presentation, the team gave a behind-the-scenes look at the world of competitive robotics. They explained how their robot is designed and built — from initial concept to a fully functioning machine — and introduced the engineering principles behind it.

Our students were especially fascinated to learn what the robot actually does in competition. Each year, teams are given a completely new challenge and must design a robot to match it. This season, their robot was built to collect balls and shoot them into a target — all within a fast-paced, game-like environment where robots compete (and collaborate!) on the field.

Although the robot itself was undergoing repairs between competitions and couldn’t be demonstrated live, students got to see it in action through competition footage — and it did not disappoint!

We are incredibly proud of Abhi Singh, Rishi Gandhi, and Arthur Rusaikin — and deeply grateful that they chose to come back and give our students a glimpse of what their own future in STEM can look like.
