WPI Outing Club

If you have a great passion that involves the outdoors (for instance: white water rafting, spelunking, skydiving, etc... ) and are interested in having the Outing Club sponsoring you, don't be afraid to contact the officers at [email protected]. We are open to exploring trips and events for all outdoor activities! Throughout each year we promote many fun trips and events such as: beginner hiking trips to mountains in the northeast, camping trips, climbing at our very own bouldering wall, The CAVE, and at local crags in New England, slacklining on the quad, as well as many other things. Annual events include several hikes, white-water rafting, a Wilderness First Aid certification course, and an overnight in Central Rock Worcester. The mailing list and the Outing Club as a whole serve as a meeting place to find others who share similar outdoor interests. Small sporadic trips often connect and coordinate with the help of the officers. We also have a considerable Gear Locker with gear for camping, winter hiking, and rock climbing.
