First, congrats to Airman McElroy on graduating boot camp, graduating technical training AND getting married! Jacob is going to Alaska for his first duty station and is being handed the keys to this house once he arrives on base! Rent and utilities are all covered, all he has to do is keep that driveway clear of snow! Maybe he will spend some of his paycheck on snowblower to store in his 🔥heated garage🔥! The Air Force quality of life just hits different.

HUGE thank you to Aviation Welding Technologies in Uxbridge for the tour today! Dave and I connected through future Airman Cullen West. I learned that he ran an aviation welding company and wanted to learn more. We discussed the skill sets required for this line of work, and how well the skills learned from the Air Force transfer. With the right skill set you could earn over 80k a year working for Dave!
