Valentine’s Day - What does love mean to us? ♥️

Love is more than sending a box of overpriced chocolate or a cheesy card to someone we care for. While all of that can be great, we can take today with a new perspective, which is more than the typical “significant other celebration” type of day.

Some people may not be celebrating today with a special someone. They may not be feeling specifically loved on, or feel appreciated- but know, this day can be celebrated as way more than that! Receiving love isn’t just something you will feel once in your life with one singular person. We have a wholesome, caring, eternal love from our Father in heaven, and we can see His love through and in the people and things around us!

To follow the intent for biblical love, is to follow the example set for us through the sending of Christ to earth. Simply the example of laying down your life for someone else. Christ came to earth due to our Father SHOWING MERCY on us, giving an opportunity for eternal life with Him. This will forever be the ultimate example of what true love looks like - the example we live by. We are commanded to love our NEIGHBOR as an overflow of our hearts and way God loves us.

The challenge for today-
Love your neighbor more. We were never deserving of the love we are constantly shown. Let’s use this Valentine’s Day to set the tone for how you will SPREAD LOVE to those around you in the day-to-day of this year.

LIKEWISE: Our Mission

Today, we wanted to share the story behind Likewise! (From my (.boyett ) perspective!)

The first spark of Likewise formed when I was taking the time to look at my faith, and the faith of people around me. I was scrolling on TikTok, and came upon this whole thread focused on why people left the religion. They explained how they have been hurt by church leaders, and other “Christians” within the church, causing them to leave and live a life for the world and for themselves. Seeing this broke my heart, but I could understand where they were coming from. Many leaders I have personally trusted haven’t turned out to be what they seemed. Many people around me aren’t often spreading the Love and Compassion of Christ- instead, they have become selfish and blindly worship false idols.
I was in a Bible Study with , and we were reading in the book of Luke. As I was reading, I was very moved and motivated by the Parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10. This chapter showed simple commands: Love, Have Mercy, Be A Neighbor. Jesus commands us to “Do Likewise:” to do like what the Good Samaritan did.
God placed on my heart the vision of a company, that 1, was targeted towards this generation (believers and unbelievers alike) recognizing the hurt in, out, and stemming from the church, and 2), served as simple reminders for people to have through creative clothing!
From then on, I started working on it, gained some help along the way, and here we are!! I am so thankful for what the Lord is going to do- even just through creative clothing. So when you see these shirts, remind yourself to Spread Love (and many more.) Always have a smile on your face, and be kind to others. ❤️
