Triple Tree Aerodrome
Our friends from down under have been great supporters of Joe Nall Week for many years, and now they have created their own festival based on our event. We’re so happy that the model of fun, fellowship, and hospitality that originated off Smith Road over 4 decades ago has turned into an international phenomenon!
Check out their video, and if you find yourselves down under, stop by and visit them: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1909078445957395/

Here's a shot that takes us back to Joe Nall Week. These RC models are scale versions of the Boeing T-45 Goshawk, a Navy trainer developed by McDonnell Douglas from the British BAE Systems Hawk jet trainer. When McDonnell Douglas and Boeing merged, it became a Boeing bird. The Goshawk became the Navy's advanced jet trainer in 1991 and is used to teach student naval aviators tactical strike missions, high-G maneuvering, and rigorous aircraft carrier landings.
The Navy is currently developing requirements for its replacement and has advanced the notion that the replacement will not have to conduct carrier landings. What do you think of that idea?
