Main Street Sweets

Many of you remember this young man when he was just a little kid running around our football fields and baseball fields. Today, he’s earned a football scholarship to Liberty University and has also been selected to play in the South Carolina Shrine Bowl, an honor reserved for ONLY the best of the best.

What makes this even more special?
He’s the first player from Woodruff High School to be selected since 2011.

This is a huge accomplishment, not just for him, but for our entire community.

The game is this Saturday at 1:00 PM, at Spartanburg High School, and it would mean the world for him to look into the stands and see Wolverine Nation his teachers, neighbors, former coaches, classmates, and community members who watched him grow up and show up.

Sometimes recognition doesn’t always come with a loud announcement, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth celebrating. We can be the support. We can be the noise. We can be the crowd.
