Birthdays have been really hard for me the last 3 years, as well as other holidays. But today on my 38th, I really want to say how truly grateful I am to my highschool friends for literally looking for me, checking on me, sending strong words of affirmation, calls, donations, and even pulling up on me to remind me how special they think I am.

I couldn't have made it through the last year without you all, and at times your love feels so tangible. In my darkest moments you guys rallied for me in a way I never could have expected.

I'm still working to get back on my feet, but I am also getting closer to my dreams of affecting change in public policy and Human Rights.

I was on the Hill lobbying congress with other advocates yesterday.... And I started to remember the girl you used to know.

I love you guys. Thanks for all the support.

I'm making a comeback, and Im doin it bc y'all said I can do anything I put my mind to. 💪🏾👊🏾🥰
