HIRING: Spry Moving Company is seeking to hire a full-time sales agent for the Residential Sales Division. The position will report to a Sales Manager. This is a newly created position.
SPRY Moving & Storage services Downtown and Greater Boston, New England, and from coast to coast with our trusted partners. We are professional office movers, hospital, laboratory and equipment handlers, packers, home and piano movers. Family owned and operated in Boston for over 80 years.
The successful sales agent will meet with prospective customers in order to assess the anticipated dates for relocation as well as the size of the move and the general expectations of the client. Following the initial meeting, the agent will prepare a written proposal/bid to include a detailed and competitive written cost estimate with the end goal of securing the client's business. Once the estimate has been approved by the client and the business secured, the agent will manage all aspects of the move (with SPRY Operations Department) with an emphasis on a cost-effective move and outstanding customer service.
Training will be provided as well as leads for new business. Since this is a new position, the Sales Agent is highly encouraged to pursue new business. Projects will include local, interstate and military relocations. The employee will also cross-train with both the Commercial and Operations Departments to support these business lines.
