Last fall, Jim Giese and I kinda-sorta revived Pebblebrook Press under a hybrid model to publish Mark Zimmermann's new poetry collection, Bomb Threats. (I did the editing, Jim did the design.) It made the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's summer reading list. Get your copy here: https://www.amazon.com/Bomb-Threats-Mark-Zimmermann/dp/B0G26ZW3W8

Congrats to Christine Stringer on being selected as a finalist for the Foreword INDIES Book Awards in the humor category! I copyedited *Charity Trickett is Not So Glamorous* for SparkPress, so I can confirm that it's pretty great. Congratulations are in order! One of my first clients, Monica Hall Author, is the subject of Life's a Mother, a forthcoming documentary that tells her complex, heartbreaking adoption story. I can't wait to see this film!

In 2012, I co-founded a micropress and spent the next eight years publishing chapbooks, poetry collections, and novels. Then, in 2020, Pebblebrook Press, quietly shut down. It had never been profitable—we did it because we loved helping Wisconsin writers get their work out into the world. But in 2020, when the world was in chaos and everyone was struggling, we couldn't do it anymore.

Fast-forward five years. Six months ago, Mark Zimmermann, one of the Pebblebrook poets, asked if I'd help him publish a new chapbook. I love his work, so it was an easy "yes." I edited the manuscript, and Pebblebrook's designer, Jim Giese, did the design work.

We encountered a few unanticipated hiccups along the way, but the chapbook is finally out. If you want to purchase one (trust me, you do!), it's best to contact Mark directly: [email protected]. It's also available online via Barnes & Noble: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/bomb-threats-mark-zimmermann/1148734892
