Blast from the past. with Scott Donald. A metal detector can be used year around to retrieve lost items. This yard was full of targets and was able to pick out the lost ring after a few minutes. I used spray paint on the less valid targets, VCO pinpoint really came alive when this target was located and knew it was a real valid signal. Used a potable torch instead of digging tool to lessen damage and remove it from the ice.
