Last month, our Director, Kayla Brissi, attended the FIFA World Cup match between Ivory Coast and Ecuador in Philadelphia, and it’s an experience she won’t soon forget. ⚽🏆

Before the match even kicked off, the excitement was palpable! Kayla, her family, and friends connected with fans from all around the world, took photos together, danced, celebrated, and soaked in the World Cup experience. It showed how soccer has a special way of bringing people together, no matter who you’re cheering for. 🌍⚽

The match itself didn’t disappoint either. In front of more than 68,000 fans, the stadium was on the edge of its seat as the score remained 0-0 deep into the match. Then, in the 90th minute, Ivory Coast scored the game-winning goal, and the stadium erupted into a frenzy. Fans were singing, dancing, waving flags, and celebrating together as the entire place came alive. It was the kind of moment that reminds you why the FIFA World Cup is unlike any other sporting event. 🐘🇨🇮🎉

Experiences like this remind us why we love this game and why we’re so passionate about sharing that same love of soccer with our own Rapids Rec Soccer families. 💙💛
