If you've ever looked at your auto policy and wondered what those numbers mean, here's the simple version:

Bodily Injury coverage comes into play if you're found at fault for someone else's injuries.

A 100/300 limit means:

→ Up to $100,000 for one injured person

→ Up to $300,000 total if multiple people are injured in the same accident

For comparison, Florida's minimum Bodily Injury limits are 10/20 — that's $10,000 per person and $20,000 per accident.

Many drivers choose higher limits, like 100/300, for additional protection.
