Predominantly non-white school districts receive $23 billion less in funding than predominantly white ones, despite serving the same number of students. This lack of resources leads to fewer advanced courses, outdated materials, and overcrowded classrooms, which diminish opportunities for Black students to excel, especially in critical areas like STEM education.
