I am running for re-election to the Community High School District 94 board. The election is this Tuesday, April 4, 2023. My goals remain what they were when I first ran for the District 94 board four years ago... To work towards greater Openness, Transparency and Accountability between our school district and the community that we serve. I believe that we have made progress towards those goals, including live-streaming meetings, allowing electronic public comment, language translation available in-person at the meetings and via captions on the live-stream, all board meetings scheduled in the evenings so that it is more available to the community and more. We have successfully negotiated with our teachers and support staff in a way that unites rather than divides the district. There is still more work to be done. Please vote for me and I will continue working towards further Openness, Transparency and Accountability so that we can improve the way our great school district serves the students and families in our community.
