Clear out your home responsibly this season! Weld County is offering free landfill vouchers for large item disposal from Sept. 2 through Nov. 1. Take advantage of this opportunity to clean up at no cost. Vouchers are valid for the North Weld and Front Range Landfills and cover one truckload or trailer (up to one ton). Mark your calendars for this year's Clean Up Days event on April 26th!
Schedule
- 7:00AM: Curbside pickup and mulch are available at Lakeview Park (1st come, 1st served until gone)
- 8:00AM Roll-offs start at the Community Park until noon (You must Bring a Postcard and Proof of Residency)
- 10AM: Drug Take Back at the Police Station until 2:00 pm
- 10:30AM: Shredding Services at Town Hall until 1:30 pm
Curbside trash should fit in a 4ftx3ft space. Tree trimmings will need to be cut down to 4ft.
The following items are not allowed curbside or at the roll-off site:
Appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washers/dryers), electronics (Tv's, computers, monitors, gaming consoles, etc.) tires, cleaning products, paint, solvents, batteries, aerosols of any kind, petroleum products (gasoline, motor oil, oil filter, fuel filters, etc.) antifreeze, herbicides, pesticides, hazardous material.
Residents must bring proof of residency and their clean-up days postcard for entry into the community park. Only one entry per household.

Important Details:
- To ensure availability, we recommend scheduling in advance.
- Bring a valid passport, driver’s license, or government-issued photo ID.
- No Remote or Electronic Notarization.
- No Real Estate or Lending Documents.
- No Witnesses Provided: If required, please bring your own.

Great time to do some clean up around the house and yard!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! 📆 Spring Clean-Up is May 10 & 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Windsor’s Public Services Campus, located at 922 N. 15th St.
The following can be brought to the event for disposal:
✔️ General household trash
✔️ Organic materials such as yard and garden waste, branches, grass clippings and tree limbs up to four inches in diameter
✔️ Scrap metal
✔️ Vehicle tires without rims
✔️ Stoves, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, grills and bicycles
✔️ Electronics
The following items cannot be accepted at the event:
❌ General household mixed recycling
❌ Hazardous waste (paint, oil, aerosol cans, etc.)
❌ Propane tanks and gas cylinders
❌ Wooden palettes
❌ Refrigerators or any appliances containing freon
❌Commercial truck or agricultural tires
A full list of accepted/unaccepted items will be available in the spring edition of Windsor Matters Magazine that is anticipated to start hitting mailboxes mid-April. That’s also where you’ll find your entry voucher, too!
