đ° Meet the Team behind DVC Resale Experts đ°
Chris is one of the owners here at DVC Resale Experts. đ
Chrisâ love of Disney started when he was a child growing up in Indiana. Chrisâ cousin, Bonnie, was one of Walt Disneyâs original Mouseketeers! Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Wright State University and an MBA in Finance from The Ohio State University. Moving to Orlando in 2004 to be closer to Walt Disney World, he owned a successful real estate company, repeatedly recognized by Orlando Magazine as one of Orlandoâs top 100 Realtors and even earning recognition by the Wall Street Journal and RealTrends as one of the top 1000 Realtors nationwide. Chris chose to join Disney Vacation Club as a Sales Guide in 2018. Having stayed at nearly every DVC resort and going on numerous Disney cruises, Chris decided he wanted to combine his love of real estate and DVC. DVC Resale Experts is the perfect way to combine his passions!

Disney Vacation Club language translation đ°
âWhat is a Use Year?â
No, itâs not when you HAVE to travel.
Your Disney Vacation Club Use Year is simply the month your yearly points are deposited into your account each year. Thatâs it.
So if you have a June Use Year, your new batch of points arrives every June.
The important part? Your Use Year can matter MOST if you ever need to cancel a trip and want the most flexibility with your points.
Think of it less like a travel calendar⌠and more like your DVC points âresetâ month â¨

There are often a lot of questions surrounding reselling your Disney Vacation Club contract and one of the questions we get asked most frequently is: How does DVC Resale work?
DVC resale works by allowing current Disney Vacation Club owners to sell their dvc points on the secondary marketâusually through a licensed DVC resale broker. As a buyer, you can browse available listings, choose a contract that fits your needs (resort, Use Year, number of points), and submit an offer.
Once your offer is accepted, the process includes:
⨠Contract and paperwork preparation
⨠Disneyâs Right of First Refusal (ROFR) review
⨠Closing with a licensed title company
⨠Transfer of ownership into your name
The entire DVC resale process typically takes 8â12 weeks and can save you thousands compared to buying direct from Disney. Plus, you still get access to magical vacations year after year.
