This week we're highlighting Squad 6, proudly serving the citizens of Barrow County from BCFD Station #7 in Winder, Georgia. Staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Squad 6 and its crew are always ready to respond when emergencies happen.

Squad 6 is a versatile rescue apparatus designed to respond to a wide variety of emergency incidents. From vehicle accidents and technical rescues to structure fires, medical emergencies, hazardous conditions, and other specialized calls, Squad 6 provides critical support whenever and wherever it's needed.

Equipped with specialized rescue tools, hydraulic extrication equipment, stabilization equipment, medical supplies, and firefighting equipment, Squad 6 gives firefighters the resources they need to safely and efficiently handle complex emergencies. Whether freeing someone trapped in a vehicle, assisting at a structure fire, or responding to a rescue incident, Squad 6 plays an essential role in protecting the citizens of Barrow County.
