💔 Heartbreaking to learn that the Rainbow Bridge in North Carolina was washed away with the floods.

🌈 The Rainbow Bridge is located at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in North Carolina. Specifically, it's part of the Flowering Bridge garden that spans the Rocky Broad River, connecting Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

🐶 The Rainbow Bridge is a special section within the garden where visitors can leave collars, tags, and other mementos to honor and remember their beloved pets who have passed away.

RADAR Update: Yesterday we arrived at UGA with the intention of leaving him overnight for him to get his MRI of his spine but to do that, they had to start with an updated exam because he has declined some. Thankfully, all the stars were aligned and he was showing them the right signs or he had an especially sharp student and attending this time around in neurology this time that recognized that he in fact had an orthopedic injury and got them involved. Ortho examined him and he was extremely painful for palpitation of his iliopsoas (hip flexor) muscle leading them to the conclusion that he has torn it. It is actually a common injury in athletic dogs. THANKFULLY, it doesn’t require an MRI, at least not right now because they are confident based on his pain and his progressive symptoms that this is what has been ailing him! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 To say I am relieved to have a diagnosis and have it not be his spine is a complete understatement 😅 Right now the treatment plan is a month of strict crate rest and leash walks with the help of some mini horse size trazadone 😆and anti inflammatories (pray for us) and the other dogs cuz he has fomo so they are getting crated as well 😆 If he hasn’t had enough improvement by our month recheck with ortho then he will need plasma injections to help boost healing and some other therapy but the best part is he will recover! 2025 will be his season! 💪🏻🙌🏻🖤
