Mine would be "Receipts" — it has saved me more than once at warranty time. Some of you live by a "Kids' School" folder. Some of you swear by a folder just called "Read Later" that you never actually read (no judgment).

Wi******er, what a weekend to be home.

Tonight kicks it off two ways:
• First Friday in Old Town — the shops are open, the mall's alive, go say hi to the folks who keep downtown going
• Independence at the Park — Jim Barnett Park's July-3rd celebration with the family

And tomorrow's the big one: the Fourth. 250 years — two and a half centuries since a handful of people decided a country could belong to the people who live in it. And here we are, still neighbors on the same porch watching the same fireworks.

However you spend it — the parade, the grill, the lawn chair, the kids with sparklers — have a happy and safe Fourth, Wi******er.
