This lil’ wooden toy piano is 136 years old!!! The maker came to the US when he was only 17 years old!
Claim to Fame: By the early 20th century, it was the largest toy company in the United States and the first to export American toys back to Germany.
I have fiddled with the one key that has moved out of the designated groove, but haven’t figured it out yet. It’s being sold as is. ❤️, POPPi

I picked up some wonderful, OLD (!!!) photos over the weekend. I’ve NEVER seen a bride in a black dress with a white veil, so I had to do a deep dive. German and Scandinavian Heritage: This style was deeply rooted in European immigrant communities, particularly among German-Lutheran (such as the Wends) and Scandinavian families who settled in America. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was standard practice for working-class and immigrant brides to wear a dark or black wedding dress paired with a light-colored veil and floral crown. Something tells me and know all about the history! 😉 Added bonus is that there are plenty of kiddo photos too! ❤️, POPPi
