The Regenerative Permaculture Design Course’s first couple days have been a success! A special thank you to .tx for their donations! The food has been excellent and nourishing!
The course is 72 hours of lecture from leading experts in the hill country. We are so thankful for Ellen Beaman@earthmamacrafts Adam Russell .tx and Taelor Monroe for starting off the course strong. Students are grasping big ideas and methods for healing land, learning skills like caring for goats and chickens, along with building community!

Ice storms on the ranch are beautiful and challenging. This most recent storm luckily came when we did not have guests to keep comfortable, our only week off for months was a blessing. We kept the wells from freezing up, fed our animals well, and stoked the fire.
Guests often tell us they feel at home here! That’s been our focus since 2008, make a home for retreat guests to return to, year after year. Our small family business and farm is a labor of love! We have made friendships and bonds with the diverse folks that choose to facilitate here, and we’re always trying to elevate our guests experience. Using non-toxic products that we use at home, connecting our chefs with amazing local farmers, and making sure our space is EMF-friendly.
We can’t wait to have y’all back on the ranch!
