“Lily” is a 14 year old 13.1hand buckskin quarter pony. She’s super brave to fences, kind and forgiving when put in a bad spot, and very snuggly on the ground. Lily has been shown in hunters, equitation, and jumpers up to .80 and she is extremely careful over the jumps. At home she’s jumped up to 2’11” easily. We think she’d make an amazing eventing pony based on how brave she is. Her stride is adjustable and simple - I just sit there and let her find the distance. If pushed she can get the horse strides ! In and outs are no trouble for her.
She was not thrilled being a lesson pony and bonded with one or two students who rode her consistently. She can test riders by being sulky and crooked - but she responds well to simply carrying a crop, dressage whip, or wearing a pair of spurs to remind her where she needs to be. Lead changes are there but not perfect every time. She wants a young rider or small adult who is as bold and brave as she is! She trailers well, travels well, clips great, and is fine by herself.
Asking very low 5 figures. Negotiable. Vet checks welcome and vet history available. I have dozens of videos of her I can send on request. Please PM me or TEXT ONLY at (916) 834-0221 for videos, more info, or to set up a time to try her!

✨ Offered for in-barn half lease ✨
Kid, aka Fortuitous, is a 22 year-old, 16.3 hand big bodied Trakeaner gelding. He is a barn favorite with a big personality and an extensive show record. Perfect short/long stirrup horse for a taller kid or an adult (just due to his size, we don’t think he would be suitable for pony-sized kids). He has absolutely no spook and is very honest to the jumps, but has enough motor to march around his courses with auto changes. He also always takes a piece of the hack, and is comfortable enough to help a rider show off in the equitation.
His current owner did the A/A hunters successfully on him for many years at both A-rated and local shows. He did the 2’3” hunters the last year, winning many classes and show championships, and finished top 5 in the competitive SAHJA beginning Ch/AA hunter division. He is limited to jumping 2’3” and under to preserve his soundness.
Kid is available for half-lease (3 days/week) and the owner is flexible on the days as she has another young horse to ride. He must stay in a program with CSC Equestrian, which is located in Wilton, CA, and weekly lessons are required. Facility has multiple arenas (including a large indoor) and excellent management. Half-lease includes use of all his tack (including his saddle) and lots of opportunities to show if desired. Half-lease pricing includes half of his board, shoes, and some maintenance. Please contact Carolyn Shultz by TEXT at (916) 834-0221 for more information or to arrange a visit/trial.
Video of his non-pro derby round with a score of 84 is in the comments.

Our team had a great show at RCEE III this past weekend! 💙🤍🧡
Vanessa and Champagne Papi finished with some top ribbons in the AA hunters as well as a top ten placing in the open derby out of over 40 entries! 🍾🌟
Bella rode Lily (Fleur de Lis) in the jumpers this show and it seems Lily found her calling. They didn’t have a rail the entire show and never finished lower than 4th, even though their classes had 25+ entries! 🙌🏻
Abby made her own jumper debut on Kairos and had some great ribbons, including a win on Saturday out of a field of 30 horses 🥇💙
Kristie and her young Aspenhain successfully moved up to the 2’3 hunters this show, and Aspen moved up to the 2’6” with Carolyn. They had solid rounds with some ribbons in these competitive classes. ❤️🦄
Merrin and Superstyle had an amazing show, landing at the top of the RCEE series standings for the long stirrup by the end of the show! 🤩
Cy and Nando joined us this time around, and Nando seriously impressed everyone at his very first show. They earned sone good ribbons in some competitive jumper classes, but more importantly, Nando proved what solid horse he is growing up to be. 🐎
We are so thankful for these wonderful horses we have the pleasure of training and competing and for our amazing clients. You make us so proud!

Enrichment for horses is so important! We don’t always have access to trails but even a light ride around the property with a buddy can be an enlightening and relaxing activity for your riding horse. Waylon and Carolyn got out of the arena with Tula and Rebecca Saturday afternoon. We went through gates, climbed some little hills, walked down a quiet driveway, and practiced stepping over some small logs in their pasture to engage their minds. Horses are not machines and they enjoy breaks in their routine occasionally! Thanks for the fun afternoon Rebecca!
