Participants will receive:

Panther Parent Announcements 5-24-26
School is closed for students and staff on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day.
On Tuesday, our Grades 3–5 End-of-Grade (EOG) score reports will be sent home with students. Students who did not pass their EOG assessment will participate in targeted remediation and retakes this week. Yes, students will have another opportunity to retake the test to improve their scores. Students will retake their EOGs May 27-29. The specific schedule will be sent home on Tuesday with their test scores.
Though we are in the last full week of school, teaching and learning have not stopped. Teachers are using information gathered from end-of-year assessments to continue teaching, support student growth, and prepare students for a strong start next school year.
We are asking ALL students to be especially mindful of their classmates during this important time by:
🐾 Keeping voices low
🐾 Staying on task
🐾 Following directions
🐾 Respecting the learning space of others
🐾 Following the procedures and rules of both the classroom and testing environment
Thank you, parents, for reinforcing these expectations at home and for supporting our school every step of the way. We are proud of how hard our students and staff have worked all year long, and we look forward to celebrating their success.
Check-In and Check-outs: Early checkout ends at 2:30 pm each day. For the safety of all students, a valid photo ID is required upon entry to the school.
Attendance: When your child is absent, please send a note to school explaining the reason for the absence within five (5) days of their return to school (WCS Board Policy 4400). Please ensure your child arrives at school on time every day. Consistent, on-time attendance is critical to academic success and helps your child start each day ready to learn.
