Rough morning on the farm y'all. We lost big momma and all 5 of her babies. Our goal is to always preserve the life of the momma but when I walked out and there was no sign of life the goal shifted to try and save the babies. It was my first emergency c- section, all 5 babies were fully developed, and I'm just at a loss for words. It's not something we've ever experienced but I know with life comes loss. I just spent the last 2 hours digging so we can give them back to the earth with gratitude for the time they spent here and the love they brought us. If y'all could help and them up with love we would appreciate the extra prayers.
