Held at Lake Conroe the racing series will have 3 distances:
-5k*: 2 loops,
-2.5k: 1 loop
-500m: Out and back
*In order to register for the 5k participants must provide proof they are able to swim one mile in 35 minutes or less.

The "Early Bird" registration for the April 12, 2025 edition of the Snapping Tortuga is open.
Exciting news for the April swim. We have added a new distance. If you are looking to "Swim the Distance" before Ironman Texas we will now offer a 3.8km (2.4mile) swim as part of the Snapping Tortuga.
We are looking forward to another great race as we head into the 14th year of the Snapping Tortuga.
