For America's 250th birthday celebration, Rolling Stone selected "Two Week Vacation" by Wichita's own The Embarrassment for its 50 Songs for 50 States list. 🎸

Formed while John Nichols, Bill Goffrier, Brent Giessmann and Ron Klaus were Wichita State students, the band was praised by Rolling Stone as "one of the great Midwestern punk bands." (Yes, "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas was just their honorable mention.)
