Our mission is to promote and inspire a passion for high-powered rocketry at Wichita State. We sponsor rocketry design projects for members that showcase engineering and innovation as well as STEM outreach events on and off campus for all ages. We also compete in collegiate competitions like the Argonia Cup and NASA Student Launch. We are open to all majors, and absolutely no experience is needed

The Wichita State Rocket Club went to the Cosmosphere today! We enjoyed seeing the actual Apollo 13 Capsule, Liberty Bell 7, and a SR-71! 🚀

This year’s Rocket Club Treasurer is Natalie Kite. She is a sophomore in Aerospace Engineering. She has wanted to work with rockets since middle school. When she isn’t focused on school work she can be found spending time outdoors, relaxing and reading, or hanging out with friends.

On March 25th and 26th, the team went out to Argonia Kansas to launch some rockets! While we did not compete in the Argonia Cup this year, 6 members got certified in high-powered rocketry! Congratulations to Andrew, Kazune, Kenil, Kyle, Peter, and Riley!
