Exciting new things going on in Wichita‼️

Wichita is considering a proposal to significantly streamline the process for building backyard apartments (ADUs), replacing a 60-to-90-day public hearing process with faster administrative permits or by-right approval in most zones. The changes would also expand ADUs to duplex lots, eliminate off-street parking requirements, and narrow neighbor notification to only adjacent properties.
