Wichita State University in support of IEEE it started a branch esp for encouraging students towards their career goals. There are over 68,000 student members of IEEE in more than 1300 student branches in 80 countries. The Student Branch at WSU is a part of this global community. We aim to enhance the academic, professional and technological development of our student members through entertaining and informative programs.

IEEE Updates:
We have successfully deployed a Full CISCO Lab as of Fall 2017 in the Engineering Experiential Building @ Room 328 with the help of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Wichita State University Department. Speical thanks to Ben Roose WSU Sys Admin, Nathan Smith Electrical Engineering Lab Manager, Dr. John Watkins EECS department chair, and Dr. Abu Asaduzzaman Associate Professor && Advisor of the IEEE Student Branch for their support through this project. We picked up equipment that was going to be retired from Wallace Hall and deployed it to serve our members and other WSU Students interested in working on CISCO Networking Certifications. We will be working on CISCO ICND01/2 Certifications as part of our club activities. Dates and Locations TBA
