Psssttt... teachers, there are still Ad Astra scholarships up for grabs! 🌟 Here's the ultimate session highlight for our educator attendees! 🌟

In "Prompt Engineering and the Art of Clear Thinking" with Tana Ruder and Kristin Ford (Wichita Public Schools Instructional Technology Specialists), learn how computational thinking contributes to strong prompt design and meaningful classroom practice.

“Designing AI Supports That Remove Learning Barriers" with Dyane Smokorowski (WPS Digital Literacy Coordinator) and Joshua Ehret (WPS Instructional Technology Specialist) will take computational thinking to the next level, covering how to design systems that solve real problems.✨

Clint Dayhuff (WPS Head of eSports) will offer two sessions on Learning Through Play and Creation. Teachers in grades K-5 will want to attend the first session "Learning Through Play and Creation,” where they’ll learn how game-based learning offers creativity, curiosity, and joy. The second session, “Applying Gaming Concepts Across Content Areas,” will help 6-12 instructors identify ways to incorporate game design into subjects as varied as history, math, ELA and science.

"Teaching and Thinking in an AI World" with Dyane Smokorowski (WPS Digital Literacy Coordinator) will explore what AI actually is, where it’s showing up, what AI literacy looks like in practice for teachers and students, and how to keep human thinking front and center along the way.

For those who already understand AI, “Designing Instruction in an AI-Enhanced Classroom” with Tana Ruder (WPS Instructional Technology Specialist) will help you move beyond awareness into real-time application through learning by doing and collaborative problem solving.
