Through the Generous Promise Grant, their support strengthens both our Food Recovery and Upcycle Programs while helping us launch new initiatives and expand food donation education efforts across Wichita.
Support like this truly makes a difference. It allows us to continue rescuing good food, reducing food waste, and serving neighbors experiencing food insecurity in our community.
Together, we are growing programs rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that good food should nourish people, not landfills.

🤝 Behind every food donor is a team of people choosing to make a difference.
Recently, we had the opportunity to present All Things Barbecue with a Certificate of Appreciation for their partnership with ICT Food Rescue's Food Recovery Program.
When surplus barbecue sauces, rubs, and seasonings are available, our volunteers pick them up each month and deliver them to nonprofit partners serving neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout Wichita.
What makes this partnership so meaningful isn't just the donated products. It's the people behind them.
Every time an employee chooses to set surplus aside instead of throwing it away, finds a place to safely store it, or helps one of our volunteers load it into their vehicle, they're making a difference. Those small decisions add up to a big impact for our community.
To everyone at All Things Barbecue, thank you for helping keep good food in circulation and for being such an important part of our mission. We truly appreciate each of you. ❤️

We're constantly amazed by the volunteers who show up for every ICT Food Rescue program. Whether they're packing Full Plate Project meal kits, rescuing surplus food, or delivering fresh donations across Wichita, their dedication never goes unnoticed.
We're incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team of committed volunteers. As our Food Recovery and Plant A Row programs continue to grow, we're always adding new rescue routes and seasonal produce pickups that help get more good food into the hands of our nonprofit partners serving the food insecure.
Volunteering on a food rescue is also a great way to get involved in our special volunteer events and new program opportunities throughout the year.
