Morning shower and storms across southern Kansas coming to an end early- just after sunrise. Decreasing clouds, becoming mostly sunny throughout the day. Hot and humid, however not dangerous or excessive.
Temperatures remaining close to "normal" for mid July this weekend into the start of next week. Heat wave builds into Kansas next weekend.
