The 6th Annual Veterans Awareness Expo is being held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Mid-America All-Indian Museum, 650 N. Seneca, Wichita, Kansas from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This FREE event is hosted by Vet-To-Vet Support Command and the Veteran Providers’ Coalition of Sedgwick County and is open to the public.

Veterans will have the opportunity to connect with over 60 veteran service providers, such as Kansas Honor Flight, with information and displays, including representatives from the Wichita VA Regional Benefits Office, Wichita Vet Center, Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, and their VA Mobile Unit. Enjoy military vehicle displays, food trucks, and more!

PROGRAM:
There will be a program at 1:00 p.m. on Wichita’s only aviation Medal of Honor recipient, Lt. Erwin R. Bleckley, an update on the restoration of an identical DH-4 biplane that he flew in World War I, and long-term plans for the Bleckley
