For caregiving families, finding a day services provider you trust is life-changing.

The impact reaches beyond the person spending their days with us. A single parent can maintain their work schedule. A grandparent raising their loved one can take time to recharge. Families can feel confident that the person they care about is safe, engaged, and supported.

Our Adult Day Services program serves Sedgwick County individuals eligible for I/DD waiver services, with a range disabilities and care needs. Each week includes opportunities for community involvement, connection, creativity, and movement. People are empowered to choose how they want to spend their time with us.

With a Registered Nurse on site and passionate Direct Support Professionals, caregivers can have peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are receiving health monitoring, socialization, and experiences that foster personal growth.

Have we mentioned how much we love getting mail from happy clients? 💌

When you're comfortable, it makes it easier to move, explore, and enjoy the world around you. Liliana, Arturo's mom, emailed us this adorable photo of him enjoying bubbles and the Kansas sunshine on his face in his new wheelchair. Our Equipment Fund and Wheelchair Clinic collaborated on funding the supportive seating and chair frame, getting Arturo in something made just for him as soon as possible. His seating system provides important spinal support to keep him comfy while helping prevent long-term posture issues. We’re so happy Arturo and his mom can soak up some more time outside together with the right support.☀️

Last week at The AbilityPoint's Annual Awards Night, George Hayden was recognized for his outstanding service and three decades of dedication to CPRF’s Wheelchair Clinic. 🥳

George began at CPRF's Wheelchair Clinic as a technician in 1997. Nowadays, he serves in a dual leadership role as Seating Shop Supervisor and Director of the Equipment Fund. He guides the daily work that keeps his team of technicians and the shop space running smoothly. George's efforts in the Equipment Fund have also changed the lives of many Kansans. His deep knowledge of items, vendors, and materials connects families with the equipment they need most. George has forged lasting relationships with families across the state, being an advocate in their corner for decades. He's a person clients turn to when a problem feels unsolvable, someone people unequivocally trust.

Thank you, George, for the lasting impact you've made for the people we serve. ❤️
