Hutton
We're more than builders, we're a team of experts – planners, architects, builders and maintenance all in one house. We serve as a single resource at any point in a client’s facilities journey. However a company may be changing, whether that be new strategic processes, a new building, maintenance for an existing building, or a switch to alternative energy, we're the pros who work it from start to finish and then some.

It's been one month since we officially opened our Springdale, AR office. To celebrate, we're sharing our favorite photos of our new space!
Located alongside the vibrant Razorback Greenway at Mile 16, the building was previously a bike shop and a bank, and the interior design gives a nod to both businesses. The office provides easy access to the greenway and surrounding businesses in the heart of Downtown Springdale!

Hutton’s internship program gives students the chance to learn about architecture and construction, while making connections that can be critical to the start of a successful career.
Yesterday, 24 interns began their summer experience with orientation, networking and team building activities. Each intern got the chance to meet their mentor for the summer, tour the Hutton office and create hats that told their individual stories and helped others learn more about them.
This year's interns represent Butler Community College, Fort Hays State University, Harding University, Hesston College, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University and the University of Arkansas.
The City of Galva, Kansas asked Hutton Design+Build to install a glass-fused-to-steel (GFS) potable water storage tank for their community. GFS tanks are made of steel and coated in a protective layer of glass to prevent corrosion.
Our self-perform team members recently completed extensive subgrade preparation and poured the concrete ring wall foundation for the 203,000 gallon tank. As work progresses, the project team has been excited to make a difference in a community where many fellow team members live.

Work continues at the RL Lofts in downtown Salina, KS, where two century-old former middle school buildings are being reimagined for a new chapter of residential life. Known originally as Roosevelt and Lincoln schools, the historic structures give the project its name and ground the renovation in the site’s long-standing role in the community.
Built in 1915 (Lincoln) and 1925 (Roosevelt), these buildings have given back to the community time and time again. They once held several hundred students, and then were home to 61 residential units as they served as affordable housing for individuals 55 and above.
Hutton architects designed the renewed historic buildings around many original features, which will continue to be preserved throughout the process of the renovation, including the original exterior brick, limestone and notable stone features. Residents will notice the stone busts of unnamed children, a sculpture of a teacher instructing students and original stone mosaics both inside and outside of Lincoln. On Roosevelt, notable original features include a decorative namesake of Teddy Roosevelt with his engraved name and initials, and a checkered stone and brick exterior pattern.
The updated buildings will soon serve Salina residents with affordable housing open to all ages. This design-build renovation includes building envelope updates, brick cleaning and restoration, new windows and complete reroofing, structural repairs in the basement plus waterproofing, and mechanical system upgrades.
Residents will see interior renovations like updated finishes with new cabinets, trim, new paint, plaster wall restoration, new doors, new floors and historical-styled light fixtures.
These apartments will be move-in ready with new appliances, while modernized elevators reshape the living experience, honoring the history of the buildings and preparing them for decades of continued service to the Salina community.
