Just before the July 4th holiday, 25 Hutton interns gathered at our Wichita, KS headquarters for "Blueprint Summit 2026," a two-day training event designed to give them a firsthand look at Hutton's culture through jobsite tours, team-building exercises and conversations with company leaders.

Day one took the group into the field, touring active jobsites and asking questions that got them close to the heartbeat of Hutton. Whether an intern spends their day in the office or on-site, we want them to see our work in real time.

Day two put their design and construction instincts to the test, challenging them to build the tallest possible structure using a handful of blindly-chosen "tools" — chopsticks, tape, paper, paper plates and more. What started as a friendly competition quickly became a lesson in collaboration, as interns leaned into each other's strengths and watched their ideas take shape alongside their structures. We wrapped with an evening Wind Surge game, closing out Blueprint Summit with Wichita baseball and fireworks.

Officially introducing: The Lark - Delano Flats.

The newest residential community in Wichita's Historic Delano District.

It's been one month since we officially opened our Springdale, AR office. To celebrate, we're sharing our favorite photos of our new space!

Located alongside the vibrant Razorback Greenway at Mile 16, the building was previously a bike shop and a bank, and the interior design gives a nod to both businesses. The office provides easy access to the greenway and surrounding businesses in the heart of Downtown Springdale!

Hutton’s internship program gives students the chance to learn about architecture and construction, while making connections that can be critical to the start of a successful career.

Yesterday, 24 interns began their summer experience with orientation, networking and team building activities. Each intern got the chance to meet their mentor for the summer, tour the Hutton office and create hats that told their individual stories and helped others learn more about them.

This year's interns represent Butler Community College, Fort Hays State University, Harding University, Hesston College, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University and the University of Arkansas.
