All services are available at no cost to individuals and businesses in South Central Kansas. We connect job seekers with the tools necessary for building a successful career. The inaugural class of the knectY TeenWORKS program is ready to take on the future after completing their job readiness training on July 9.
Over the six-week course, students explored potential career paths with guest speakers from Wichita Police Department, Wichita Fire Department, Textron Aviation, and Greater Wichita YMCA. They also gained confidence though completing mock interviews, visualized their goals by making vision boards, and solidified their new career knowledge though a game of Job Jeopardy.
These students have bright futures ahead thanks to their hard work, growth, and commitment to career preparation!

The Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas is excited to host an American Connection Corps (ACC) Member this year, and we’re looking for someone from our community to serve with us.
This Member will support efforts to expand digital access and opportunity in South Central Kansas while gaining hands-on experience and earning a stipend.
