We are a group of young people trying to motivate others to take a part in registering to vote, hitting the poles, be an active member in the upcoming election, and take part in beginning a conversation with the public and people in office. We’re looking for passionate young leaders who want to become more involved in their community, grow their leadership skills, and make real impact through civic engagement and advocacy work.
This opportunity is designed for high school through undergraduate students who are ready to learn, lead, organize, and help create change right here in our community.

If you’re passionate about your community, leadership, and creating real change, this may be the space for you. Through Root The Power, youth have opportunities to engage in civic leadership through community events, conversations with local council members and representatives, and voter engagement efforts. This program is about helping young people use their voice, build confidence, and better understand the power they have within their communities.
