✊ Democracy doesn't just happen on Election Day.

It happens when people show up.

It happens when neighbors gather around a kitchen table. It happens when communities come together in public spaces. It happens when ordinary people decide their voices matter.

🎢 On June 14, join friends, family, and neighbors for Rise Up, Sing Out: Wichita Neighborhood Gatherings & Watch Parties, a community-focused evening celebrating the freedoms protected by the First Amendment.

πŸ“’ On June 27, we'll join communities across the country for All of U.S. – Wichita, part of a nationwide day of action supporting democracy, equality, freedom, and civic engagement.

Whether you're hosting a gathering, attending an event, making a phone call, volunteering, registering voters, or simply helping a neighbor, you're helping build the kind of community and democracy we all deserve.

πŸ’™ There are many ways to take action. Every one of them matters.

🚨 COMMUNITY ACTION ALERT 🚨

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13, Joe Ceballos has reportedly been ordered to report to ICE at 11:00 AM at 555 N. Woodlawn in Wichita.

Joe is a longtime Kansas resident and former Coldwater mayor whose case has drawn statewide attention. Recent reporting indicated he reached a plea agreement on misdemeanor election-related charges while hoping to avoid deportation proceedings.

We will not stay silent while families and community members are targeted through fear and intimidation.

πŸ“ 555 N. Woodlawn – Wichita
πŸ•™ Gather at 10:00 AM
πŸ•š Scheduled ICE reporting time: 11:00 AM

Let’s show up peacefully and visibly to make it clear that this community is paying attention and that we will not tolerate ICE activity like this in Wichita without public accountability.

Bring signs, water, and your voice.
Remain peaceful. Remain visible. Remain together.

If you attend:
β€’ Stay on public sidewalks and spaces
β€’ Do not engage in confrontation
β€’ Help keep one another safe
β€’ Document respectfully and responsibly
β€’ Support de-escalation and community care
No one should have to face this alone.
