Multitasking is working on a live remote tune for a Subaru while you're at Chuck E Cheese with the family.

Well looks like i've done yet another thing. We've officially started on the Eclipse Cross ECUs. Mitsubishi has REALLY changed it up with these. Totally new controller, ROM sizes are now 4MBs, and some of the primary parameters have 50+ tables! The headers no longer tell you the table sizes or the RAM lookups for axes. Took some time to get analysis sorted out but now that we've got the basics down we can start going down the long winding road.

Here's one of the primary fuel maps from a 2021 Mitsubishi EC ROM, while it "looks" familiar there are major changes to how all of this works and how these tables and routines are all connected. I've already found the OBD DTC control toggles, timing, fuel maps, etc. This is only the beginning!

Another ECU recovered and saved. Always verify what you're flashing to the ecu even if sent to you by a "professional tuner".

Tuning this 2015 . Greddy intake and Custom exhaust. Added all the latest and greatest. Removed and limiters and caps. Added launch control, CVT tuning. Etc. The cars response is greatly improved with the newest developments and it "feels much lighter".

PSA for you lancer owners: If your lancer tuner doesn't properly datalog your car they're doing you a disservice. Case and point - this intake was causing the car to run 12% too lean. With proper calibration we've brought it as close to 0 as possible. A single flash and done isn't custom tuning. Logging requires patching of the ecu and finding and entering RAM addresses for each monitor you want to log. Without logging you're just guessing and too many lancer "tuners" are doing this and causing issues.

Customer will be coming back in the future for a flex fuel tune as well.
