Intermediate Level Basic Barre Combinations
Plie - 2 demi plie, grand plie - 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th positions + 2 3rd port de pras
Tendus - 2 tendus, flex, poite close - front, side , back; 2 press -side. All repeat an dedans.
Jete - 2 jete, 2 pique - front, side. Back 2 jete, balansoir. Side 2 pique - 2 times. Repeat an dedans.
Rond par terre - 6 slow, 3 quick ronds, rond on plie, rond on 45. All an dedans. Streching with port de bras. Port de bras side to side. Stretching with a heel, hold on 90 side, passe and open to 2nd arabesque.
Fondu and rond an l'air - 2 fondus front, 2 fondus side, soutenu to 2nd arabesque, soutenu side, up, 4 an l'air an dehors. All combination repeat an dedans.
Frappe - 2 frappe full cross, double frappe front, back, side, sur le cou de pied, 7 petite battements an dehors. All repeat an dedans.
Adagio - 1 temps leve, 1 passe developpe full cross.
Grand battement - 4 front, 3 side, 4 back, 3 side, sounenu half turn and start left leg.
After the Barre please do Releve, Stretching on the floor, Adagio on a center and jumps combinations.
You are welcome to add or create your own combination, and you are welcome to share your combinations with me and others! But, please, don't get lazy and do at least this minimum 3 times per week!! Stay active and healthy!!
